Article: TOLEDO, Sunday, July 31 (TMYA) - The Toledo Muslim Youth Association held its 2nd Annual Soccer Tournament on Sunday, July 24, 2005. The tournament was open to all ages. A special soccer clinic was also held for children as young as 3 years old, allowing them to join in the fun as well.
"This year's tournament was great! I wish we could have more clinics throughout the year," one parent remarked.
More than 150 players participated in the competition. Many teams attended from Toledo and Perrysburg, as well as from several surrounding cities like Dearborn and Flint, Michigan and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A special thanks goes to KindHearts for fully sponsoring this event.
KindHearts and TMYA are planning many joint ventures in the future, with an anticipated basketball tournament in the Fall.
